The Hursley Golf Society (formerly IBM Hursley Golf Society) is open to anyone that wishes to join. Society members receive subsidised society rates, are eligible to win prizes and contest trophies. Guests are very welcome but will pay the full event cost, at society rates, plus a contribution towards the cost of prizes and society overheads, so it is definitely worth becoming a member. We run a series of golf events, generally between 10 and 12, throughout the season, starting in April and finishing in early October. These are held at a variety of golf clubs around south Hampshire, with a few across the border in Wiltshire. This year’s programme is available from the Events link in the menu above. It includes both individual and team competitions. Most events are over 18 holes and held on weekday afternoons (without meals), but there are three ‘major’ events which involve both morning and afternoon rounds, with lunch and dinner included.
We also run Summer and Winter K/O competitions and several ‘cumulative’ competitions based on scores throughout the season.
